Description
Prairie points can be charming surprises in quilts when they’re included in piecing or in a quilt’s binding. Traditionally they are evenly spaced around the outer edge of a quilt pointing outward, but why can’t they be used as accents anywhere? Adding stitching, adding beads, adding a contrast lining, and using a variety of PPs in a quilt can really make a piece pop!
Instructions include details on cutting, stitching and pressing prairie points along with yardage charts so you’ll know how much fabric you’ll need for each project. Lined (or two-color) prairie point instructions are also included. They can be quite sophisticated and can add an element that really make your quilts much more interesting.
